Well, as those of you who were familiar with the original can see, I have seriously revamped the Magician tarot card and am very pleased with the results. There was something about that picture that always bothered me, and just recently I came to the realization that the problem was threefold: a) the natural colors in the card were wrong (skintone, lips, eyes), b) the character had been disproportionately stretched out in my previous attempts to make this card the same size as the other one and c) her eyes were asymmetrical, too close together, and lacking eyelashes, which are one of Clearfall's most salient characteristics. Whew! It's up!

Well! That took quite a while. The picture "Yin and Yang" that I just put up I started almost a year ago. It just kept getting shunted to the side with schoolwork and theatre and what have you... but now it's up! and I'm pretty pleased with the way it came out. the concept is one I've been trying to find characters for for quite some time, and now it's there! Yay! I hope everyone enjoys!

Well, unfortunatly this journal entry won't be as elated as the last one. I just finished a new picture, but I'm not as pleased about it. I feel like it's a bit of a step backwards from where I was with the sunrise picture. I drew it in a hurry and didn't bother to put all the time and effort into the facial features or in expanding the drawing to completeness that I think I needed to. This will be a lesson to me to slow down and take my time.
